Caribbean Impact Market connects buyers and vendors across 28 Caribbean dependencies. Currently, individual vendors manage their own shipping arrangements and work with local shipping companies of their choice.
What this means for you:
- Shipping rates, methods, and delivery times are set by each vendor
- You’ll see specific shipping information on each product page before purchase
- Tracking availability depends on the vendor’s chosen shipping provider
- Shipping costs are calculated by the vendor based on weight, dimensions, and destination
Regional Shipping
Most vendors offer shipping throughout the Caribbean region, supporting our “Buy Local. Buy Regional.” initiative that promotes sustainable trade within the Caribbean.
Typical Inter-Island Shipping:
- Estimated Delivery Times: 3-7 business days (varies by vendor and destination)
- Tracking: Available when provided by vendor’s shipping partner
- Coverage: Across our 28 Caribbean dependencies including ABC Islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao), SSS Islands (Sint Maarten, Saba, Sint Eustatius), and more
International Shipping
Some vendors offer international shipping to destinations outside the Caribbean.
International Orders:
- Estimated Delivery Times: 7-21 business days (varies by vendor and destination)
- Customs & Duties: International customers are responsible for any customs fees, import taxes, or duties levied by their country
- Tracking: Availability depends on vendor’s shipping method
Note: Not all vendors ship internationally. Please check the vendor’s shipping policies on their profile or product pages.
Eco-Friendly Packaging
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we encourage our vendors to use:
- Biodegradable packaging materials
- Recycled shipping containers
- Minimal packaging waste
- Reusable shipping containers when possible
Many CIM vendors prioritize sustainable packaging as part of their commitment to environmental responsibility.

Returns Policy
Standard Returns
Return policies are set by individual vendors and may vary. However, most vendors on CIM follow these general guidelines:
Typical Return Window: 14 days from delivery date
Condition Requirements: Items must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging with tags attached
Return Process:
- Contact the vendor directly through our messaging system within the return window
- Explain the reason for your return and provide photos if applicable
- Follow the vendor’s specific return instructions
- Ship the item back using the vendor’s preferred method
- Receive your refund once the vendor confirms receipt
Important: Always review the specific return policy displayed on the vendor’s profile and product listings before making a purchase.
Vendor-Specific Policies
Each vendor sets their own return policies, which may include:
- Different return windows (7-30 days)
- Restocking fees for certain items
- Specific conditions for returns
- Return shipping cost responsibility
These policies are clearly displayed on each vendor’s profile and product listings. Please review them carefully before completing your purchase.
Non-Returnable Items
Most vendors do not accept returns on:
- Perishable goods (fresh produce, seafood, prepared foods)
- Custom-made or personalized items
- Digital products and downloads
- Gift cards and vouchers
- Intimate items (for hygiene and safety reasons)
- Items marked as “Final Sale”
Refunds
Processing Time: Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days after the vendor receives and inspects the returned item
Refund Methods: Refunds are issued to your original payment method (credit card, PayPal, or CARET tokens)
Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to vendor error or a defective product

Exchanges
Exchange policies vary by vendor. Generally:
- Contact the vendor to request an exchange
- Some vendors offer direct exchanges for different sizes or colors
- Others may require you to return the original item and place a new order
For the fastest processing, we recommend returning the original item and placing a new order for your desired product.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- Contact the vendor immediately through our messaging system (within 48 hours of delivery)
- Provide clear photos of the damaged item and packaging
- Follow vendor instructions for return or replacement
- Keep all packaging until the issue is resolved
Vendor Responsibilities:
- Vendors should respond within 48 hours
- Vendors typically cover return shipping for damaged/defective items
- Vendors should offer replacement or full refund (including original shipping)
If the vendor doesn’t respond within 48 hours, please contact CIM Customer Support at support@caribimpact.market and we’ll help facilitate resolution.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a shipping or return issue that cannot be resolved directly with the vendor:
- Document all communication with the vendor
- Contact CIM Customer Support with order details and documentation
- Our team will mediate between you and the vendor to find a fair resolution
